This nightlatch is used for securing exterior or internal timber doors, frequently on residential sites where controlled access is required. It allows everyday entry and exit while providing a means to deadlock the mechanism for additional on-site security.
Fitment is typical as a main or secondary lock on doors with a suitable backset. Features include a snib button for holding back the latch or deadlocking from inside, as well as external key operation for flexibility in entry management.
