This two-part skeleton hinge jig is designed for precise installation of hinges on timber-based doors. Supplied in a carry case and including adjustable aperture blocks, bradawls, and a guide bush, it allows trades to accurately form hinge recesses without marking out in the traditional way.
Typical applications include fitting new doors to existing frames or renovation work on-site and in joinery shops. The jig accommodates a range of door and hinge sizes and can be used on both internal and external doors with a light duty plunge router and compatible cutter.
