This 2400 x 600 x 19mm tapered edge board is designed as a core component in metal stud separating walls and as an in-fill board for floor systems. The thickness and mass of the board support use in both new builds and refurbishment work, particularly wherever reduced sound transmission between spaces is required.
The tapered edge aids with jointing and taping to help produce a flush finish ready for final decoration. Its width assists with handling and installation on site, and it can generally accept a single coat of gypsum plaster. Typical applications include partition systems and sound-reducing floor constructions in domestic or commercial environments.
