This is a lightweight plasterboard designed as a base layer for skim finishing and general drylining projects. Supplied in a 1220 x 900mm sheet with a 9.5mm thickness, the square edge format is suitable for direct application of plaster or for use in areas where a smooth finish is not required.
The board is typically fixed to timber or metal studs, or used for wall and ceiling linings in both domestic and commercial environments. It is commonly chosen for background surfaces where either a skim coat or textured finish will be applied during internal fit-outs or refurbishments.
