This product is used to treat and protect the cut ends of timber decking boards, which are highly susceptible to moisture ingress and the onset of rot. Applied to freshly cut deck ends before installation, it helps to maintain the strength and integrity of both softwood and hardwood decking where it matters most.
On site, application is by brush to ensure the solution penetrates and seals the exposed grain effectively. Once dry, the treated timber can be finished with a compatible decking stain or oil to match the rest of the installation and provide additional weather resistance as required.
