This 100mm thick mineral wool slab is used to reduce sound transfer in partition walls, separation walls, and intermediate floors. Each slab measures 1200 x 600mm, sized for standard framing, and is suitable for managing both airborne and impact noise between rooms or properties.
The slab can be friction-fitted between studs or joists and easily cut to fit around cabling, pipes, or sockets, helping to maintain a continuous acoustic barrier. This approach enables installers to adapt the insulation to on-site requirements and minimise the risk of performance gaps within wall or floor assemblies.
