This 225g/m² fibreglass chopped strand mat is supplied in a 30m² roll, making it suitable for use on a variety of flat roofing projects. It is designed for incorporation with liquid-applied resin systems to create a reinforced waterproof layer over substrates including felt, asphalt, concrete, GRP, PVC single-ply, OSB3 TG4, and metals.
On site, the mat is typically laid onto the prepared surface and fully consolidated into a resin base coat, providing reinforcement and helping to achieve even coverage. It is well-suited for both new installations and refurbishment work where reliable reinforcement and added durability are needed. Substrate priming may be required to ensure adhesion, especially on felt surfaces.
