This non-return valve is made from PVC and is used to control the direction of flow in fluid systems, stopping backflow within pipework. It contains a clack mechanism that allows water or other fluids to pass one way only, helping to maintain the intended operation of the system.
Commonly fitted in plumbing, industrial, agricultural, and landscape installations, the valve is suited to 1.1/2" BSP threaded connections. It is often used to protect pumps and other equipment from reverse flow or pressure surges, particularly in MDPE pipework applications.
