This foundation block is developed for use in load-bearing masonry cavity wall construction, measuring 350 x 250 x 140mm. Its design incorporates a cellular core with a hole on one side and a solid face on the other, making it easier to handle on site.
Typically applied at the base of cavity walls, the block is suitable for foundations with cavity widths between 125mm and 150mm. The inclusion of finger grips along the edges aids manual handling, and the block can be positioned to suit both inner and outer leaf requirements in a variety of foundation settings.
