This foundation block is manufactured for building load-bearing masonry cavity walls where a cavity width of 125mm to 150mm is required. Its dimensions of 350mm by 250mm by 140mm make it suitable for use in constructing robust foundations on a variety of building sites.
The design incorporates a cellular core through most of the block’s length, with one end featuring a hole and the opposite end a solid face. Finger grips are included along the edges to aid site handling. The block is typically installed at the base of walls to support structural loads and assist with cavity alignment during foundation work.
