The PK 20 7mm plasterboard plug is a plastic wall fixing intended for use in hollow wall situations where traditional plugs do not provide adequate grip. It is routinely used by tradespeople for installing light electrical fittings, brackets, or shelving into plasterboard partitions.
To use, a 7mm hole is pre-drilled in the plasterboard and the plug inserted before driving in the screw. The plug expands within the cavity as the screw is tightened, providing a stable mounting point for light to medium loads, and helping to prevent movement or pull-through during application.
