This pine baserail is supplied in a 4.2 metre length with a 32mm groove to support staircase spindles. Manufactured from straight-grained pine, it is unfinished and comes with a fillet for fixing spindles in place on internal staircases.
It is typically installed as the lower rail in stair refurbishment or new build projects, where it provides both structure and alignment for compatible spindles. The baserail may be painted, stained, or varnished on site to match existing joinery and is suited for use across a variety of domestic staircase styles.
