This pine heavy duty baserail measures 2.4 metres in length and is machined with a 41mm groove designed to accept standard stair spindles. Manufactured from straight-grained pine, it provides support for spindles and forms an essential structural element at the base of a balustrade on internal staircases.
The baserail is suitable for use with a range of compatible 41mm spindle designs, and can be installed using screws and adhesive. Supplied unfinished, it can be sanded and finished with wood stain, varnish, paint or lacquer as required on site to suit the overall look of the staircase.
