This oak newel base, measuring 91 x 915mm, is designed for use as the foundational section at the bottom of a newel post on internal staircases. Manufactured from oak, it provides structural support and is used when installing a spigot newel to complete the stair post assembly.
On site, installers or joiners typically fit this newel base as part of a staircase renovation or new build. It is compatible with handrails and baserails from the same oak range, and can be finished with wax, varnish, or lacquer to achieve the desired appearance.
