This is a 150mm thick glass mineral wool slab, supplied in packs for use as insulation in external masonry cavity walls. Sized at 1200mm by 455mm, it covers 2.18m2 per pack and is manufactured to suit standard vertical wall tie spacing, aiding ease of placement and a close fit on site.
Commonly used by builders for residential and light commercial construction, the slab helps reduce heat loss through cavity walls and supports consistent internal temperatures. Its water-repellent properties also assist in managing moisture build-up when installing insulation in new builds or refurbishment projects.
