This heavy duty steel lintel is designed for installation within cavity walls, providing support over structural openings such as windows and doors. Manufactured from galvanised steel, it is suitable for use where additional load-bearing strength is required alongside effective support for brick or blockwork construction.
Commonly used on site for masonry cavity walls with a cavity width of 90–105mm, this product can accommodate a variety of inner and outer leaf sizes. The lintel is typically built in as work progresses, with blockwork placed tight to the inner face and a mortar bed laid on top to ensure even distribution of load prior to installing floor units.
