This heavy duty steel lintel from Keystone Lintels Ltd is designed for use in cavity wall construction, offering support over door and window openings. Manufactured from galvanised steel, it is suitable for cavity widths between 90 and 105mm, accommodating both inner and outer leaf requirements typically found in residential and commercial builds.
On site, the lintel measures 1950mm in length and is intended to be installed so that the blockwork is built tightly against the inner face. A mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to facilitate even load distribution. This lintel is commonly used by bricklayers and builders where structural support for heavy loads is required.
