This galvanised steel box lintel is manufactured for supporting masonry above wide structural openings in 215mm solid walls. With a length of 4800mm and a depth of 215mm, it is suitable for use over doorways or windows in both internal and external locations.
Commonly used on new build or refurbishment projects, the lintel is installed with a minimum 150mm bearing at each end and set level to ensure full load transfer. Its perforated surface aids plaster adhesion, making it practical for blockwork that requires a flush finish.
