This galvanised steel box lintel is used to support masonry over internal or external wall openings up to 2400mm wide. Its 150mm high box profile is suited to solid wall construction, providing dependable support in new build or refurbishment work.
The lintel is typically built into 215mm wide brick or block walls for doorways and window openings. Perforations along the steel section help achieve a secure plaster finish, while installation requires a minimum end bearing of 150mm at each side, bedded onto mortar.
