This galvanised steel box lintel is intended for forming structural openings in solid masonry walls, suitable for wall widths between 100mm and 215mm. At 2700mm long and 150mm high, it accommodates wider spans and is commonly used above patio doors, double doorways, and similar large openings where secure load distribution is essential.
On site, the lintel is installed horizontally over the specified opening to transfer the weight of the masonry above to the supporting walls or padstones. Its box profile construction allows for straightforward fitting and reliable performance in both new builds and refurbishment projects where solid wall support is needed.
