This steel box lintel is designed for supporting openings in solid wall construction, typically where 100mm to 215mm wall widths are required. Measuring 1500mm in length, it is suited to spanning standard door or window openings in both residential and light commercial building projects.
On site, the lintel is installed above structural openings to distribute loads from the masonry above. It is laid along a mortar bed and requires a minimum 150mm end bearing at each side. The lintel's format enables straightforward handling and installation with standard building materials and methods.
