This is a cavity wall lintel measuring 2250mm in length, produced from galvanised steel for use in supporting masonry over openings. Designed for integration into cavity wall constructions, it is suitable for typical external wall build-ups where load-bearing support is required above windows, doors, or other apertures.
On site, the blockwork should be constructed closely against the inner face of the lintel, and a mortar bed applied on top of the inner leaf prior to laying floor units. The lintel may be propped during installation to assist with build sequence and speed. It is compatible with cavities between 90-105mm, supporting practical installation in standard masonry builds.
