This cavity wall lintel is made from galvanised steel and is designed for use in cavity wall construction where extreme load capacity is required. At 5 metres in length, it is suitable for larger structural openings, supporting masonry over doorways, windows, or other structural apertures.
Compatible with cavity walls of 50-65mm, this lintel supports an inner leaf of 140-150mm and an outer leaf of 102mm. Typical installation includes setting the lintel with a 200mm end bearing on each side, as standard practice, to ensure adequate load distribution in demanding structural scenarios on site.
