The James Hardie Seal Edge Coating, supplied in a 1-litre container and finished in Boothbay Blue, is formulated for use with fibre cement cladding. This paint is applied to the freshly cut edges of cladding boards during installation to help protect exposed sections and maintain the intended appearance of the facade.
On site, the coating is typically brushed onto cut board ends immediately after sizing and fitting. It assists in achieving a uniform look across the installation and helps minimise any visible transition between factory and site-applied finishes.
