This glass mineral wool batt is designed for use in timber frame wall applications. Supplied in packs, each batt measures 1175mm by 570mm with a thickness of 140mm, covering a total area of 3.35m² per pack.
On site, the batts are typically friction fitted between standard 600mm timber studs, creating an effective layer to reduce heat transfer and improve acoustic comfort within buildings. The flexible material helps ensure a close fit, minimising gaps and simplifying installation for efficient on-site handling.
