This overbanding tape is a thermoplastic material supplied in a 35mm wide, 5m long roll for use on asphalt and tarmac surfaces. It is typically applied after completing road or patch repairs to provide a seal over joints or cracks where two surfaces meet.
On site, the tape is unfurled and positioned along the vulnerable section, using standard site equipment to ensure a secure bond. It helps protect repair joints from water ingress and associated edge deterioration, making it suited to roads, car parks, and paths where longevity of surface repairs is important.
