This cap sheet is a bitumen-based, torch-on membrane with a charcoal mineral finish, supplied in an 8m x 1m roll. Commonly used as the upper layer in a multi-layer flat roofing build-up, it is applied with a torch for a secure bond to prepared surfaces.
Suitable for new installations or refurbishing existing flat roofs, it can be installed over plywood, OSB3, timber boarding, profiled metal decking, or concrete. The mineral surface is intended to provide a finished appearance while the membrane forms a key part of the weatherproofing system on site.
