This half pine one piece newel turning is made from straight-grained softwood and measures 91mm wide by 1500mm high. It is supplied in a half-profile, allowing installation flush to a wall where a full newel post would not be practical.
Often fitted at the end of a staircase run or along landings, this newel provides support for handrails while giving a tidy, unobtrusive finish to timber balustrade systems. It is intended for interior use and can be paired with compatible handrails and other components. The pine surface is suitable for sanding and applying your chosen finish.
