This is a coarse washed sharp sand supplied in a big bag, suitable for a range of general building and landscaping tasks. With particle sizes from 0mm to 4mm, the material is commonly chosen for use in screeding mixes, bedding for paving slabs, and block laying.
On site, it is also used as a base under artificial grass or as an ingredient in concrete and specialist lime pointing applications. The big bag format allows for efficient handling and bulk use, and the sand can be stored outside if needed.
