This compression brass olive is intended for use with 8mm copper pipework in plumbing installations. The olive fits over the pipe and is compressed within a joint to produce a secure, watertight seal between the pipe and the fitting.
Typically used during both new installations and maintenance work, it is suitable for domestic and commercial systems. The component is often fitted in areas where soldering is impractical, allowing joints to be made without heat or flame.
