This plastic thin coat angle bead is supplied in a 2.5 metre length with a 3mm thickness, making it suitable for shaping and reinforcing external corners when applying skim or thin coat plaster to internal surfaces. It is used to achieve a defined, straight edge while helping to protect vulnerable plastered corners against day-to-day knocks.
On site, the bead is typically fixed to plasterboard or solid wall backgrounds before finishing coats are applied. Its plastic construction minimises corrosion risk, making it a practical option in areas with occasional moisture or where metal beads may be less suitable.
