Expamet Flat L/D Restraining Strap

This flat light duty restraining strap is used to provide supplementary restraint and support in a range of building applications. Made from galvanised steel and 1200mm in length, it is typically fixed flush to timber or masonry to help tie structural elements together.

On site, this strap is suitable for restraining non-loadbearing walls, securing ceiling ties, connecting joists to walls, or where restraint against lateral movement is required. The flat profile makes it practical for use in areas where minimising projection is necessary, such as along ceilings and floors.
