This linseed oil putty is formulated for glazing single panes of glass into both metal and wooden window frames. Supplied in a 5kg pack, the putty has a natural finish and contains added plasticiser to improve workability and reduce the risk of cracking after application.
Commonly used on site for setting glass in softwood or hardwood frames, the putty is suitable for general repair work and new installations alike. It is not designed for plastic frames, double glazing, heat-absorbing glass, or surfaces previously treated with microporous stains. Blend pack contents before use and allow a surface skin to form before overpainting.
