This 2kg natural linseed oil putty is suitable for glazing single glass into softwood, hardwood, and metal window frames. It is supplied ready to use, formulated with added plasticiser for better handling and improved adhesion when used on site.
Typically applied using a putty knife, this putty is often used by joiners and glaziers for installing or repairing single glazed windows. It is important to mix the putty thoroughly before application and allow a skin to form before any overpainting. Not suitable for use with plastic frames, double glazing, heat absorbing glass, or frames treated with microporous stains.
