This ready-mixed flue jointing compound is supplied in a 1kg tub and features a stiff, asbestos-free consistency. It is intended for joining metal flues, low pressure air ducts, and for use when chasing pipes through brickwork, both indoors and out. The compound does not fully harden, which helps prevent cracking from minor movement in joints.
On site, tradespeople commonly use this jointing compound for sealing connections in heating flues and associated ductwork. Its non-flammable formulation and resistance to temperatures up to 200°C make it suitable for a range of general maintenance and installation tasks where a flexible, reliable joint is required.
