This bitumen and flashing primer is designed for preparing surfaces before applying bitumen paints, roof coatings or flashings. Its formulation provides a bonding layer to improve the adhesion of subsequent coatings on various substrates including concrete, cement screeds, bitumen felt, weathered metals, asphalt, mastic and timber.
On site, the primer is typically used during roof maintenance, repair, or installation jobs to ensure surfaces are ready for further bituminous treatments. It can be applied with a brush or roller and suits flat or sloped roofing situations, as well as groundwork where bitumen-based protection is required.
