This acoustic sealant and adhesive is formulated for both sealing and bonding tasks, typically used during drywall installation and when working with kraft lined insulation boards. Its high strength and permanently flexible properties allow application between plasterboards or onto a variety of common materials, such as blockwork, wood, and metal stud framing.
On site, it is often applied along joints and perimeters to reduce sound transmission and create an effective acoustic barrier. The product can also help in securing insulation boards, providing resistance to mould, and can be overpainted once cured, making it practical for finishing internal wall and partition systems.
