This natural flint aggregate is supplied in a mini bag format and contains particles ranging from 4mm to 10mm. Known as Cerney shingle, it is often referred to as 10mm shingle, pea shingle, or pipe bedding, and may present either a sub-angular or rounded shape depending on the source and processing method.
Typically used for landscaping projects, it is suitable for decorative ground cover, pathways, and pipe bedding in drainage applications. On driveways or similar surfaces, its particle size may not interlock, which can cause the material to move or become lodged in tyre treads during vehicle use.
