This insulated cavity closer is suitable for sealing open cavity reveals in new build or extension work, particularly around window and door openings. It comes in 2.4 metre lengths and can be trimmed to accommodate cavity widths between 100mm and 150mm using pre-cut grooves marked on the product.
Site installation can be done by push-fitting into the cavity or building in during brickwork. The ribbed surface is designed to accept wet plaster or plasterboard on dabs, supporting standard finishing methods. This product is well-suited for both first fix and second fix scenarios, providing a practical solution for reducing cold bridging at exposed junctions.
