This universal cavity closer is designed for use with wall cavities between 50mm and 100mm, supplied in a 2.4 metre length for convenience on site. Manufactured from PVCu with an insulated core, it is suitable for installation at window and door reveals in masonry or timber frame constructions.
The insulation can be trimmed on site to fit the actual cavity width, providing flexibility for different build requirements. Suitable for both first and second fix stages, this closer is typically used to close cavities around structural openings and help reduce the effects of cold bridging.
