This cavity fire barrier is a pre-formed solution for closing gaps at junctions within cavity wall constructions. Measuring 1.2 metres in length with a cross-section of 75 x 75mm, it is suitable for a range of cavity widths and is supplied in blue for easy identification on site.
Commonly installed in masonry, brick, timber frame, and steel-framed wall structures, the barrier is placed at party walls, wall plates, or other junctions to restrict the passage of fire and assist with noise reduction and thermal containment within the cavity. It is designed for straightforward installation in new builds or refurbishments.
